Computers

The library has 25 Internet-connected computers available for public use.

Internet Searching

Public computers in the Adult Reading Room, Children’s Room, and Teen Zone provide access to the Internet. Browse the Internet, check your email, or search the library’s catalog and reference databases. Printing is available from these computers at $0.10 per black and white page or $0.35 each for color.

Wireless Internet Access

The library offers a high-speed Wi-Fi network with access points throughout the building. You may use your laptop computer, tablet, smartphone, or other Internet-capable device that supports Wi-Fi. No password is necessary and library staff are available to provide assistance, if you have any difficulty connecting to the network. Wi-Fi printing is not available; printing is available from the library’s computers only.

Business Software

Microsoft Office Professional 2013, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher, is available on designated computers located near the public printer and in the Teen Zone.

Game Computers

There are several AWE Learning© Early Literacy Station™ and AfterSchool Edge™ computers located in the Children’s Room, with software and games suitable for kids of different age levels.
